Psst. Don't tell anyone, but Gal Gun is actually really fun. Yeah, yeah, it's all problematic and awful because of reasons, and people will tell you you're not supposed to like it, but it's actually super well put together and fun. Gal Gun is problematic because it's a game about shooting pheromone shots at high school girls because they're all horny for your character. You see all sorts of fanservice and panty shots because that's the type of game this is. People get all nervous about it because it's high school girls, and this would be super illegal and creepy in the real world, but it's also a video game about anime girls who aren't real, so I'm mostly fine with it. The whole appeal is that they're fake anime girls who DON'T look real. Man, there's just no good way to explain this, is there ...
Anyway, the game is surprisingly fun. The art style is fantastic and the girls all look really, really great. It isn't like Oneechanbara where the "sexy" characters are ugly, or Akiba's Trip where the characters look fine but the gameplay is bad - Gal Gun excels in both gameplay and presentation.
This blog is just awkward and I'll probably end up regretting it. Anyway, Gal Gun Double Peace is fun. The next time Gal Gun 2 is on sale I'm going to buy it, too.
