Eric Vs. 365 - Day 308 - Access Denied

Today's game is a little indie gem called Access Denied. The gist is that you have to solve a series of puzzle boxes that have a wide variety of different puzzle types. I loved it. It's $5 and only takes 2-3 hours to get all 1000 Gamerscore (or the Platinum on PS4) and it's totally worth it if you have any interest at all in puzzles and critical thinking. Read more and watch gameplay here.

I was always a smart kid. I think people expected me to be smarter than I turned out, though, but I got to Algebra and all of the sciences that used Algebra and noped out pretty quick. Instead of a rocket scientist I became a writer. That's fine. Math sucks.

I just prefer real, tangible, and practical stuff a lot more than imaginary numbers, so Algebra never clicked with me. That's why Access Denied got me hooked - it presents you with physical puzzles and all of the clues you need to solve them are right in front of you, you just have to figure it out. There are number puzzles and shape puzzles and liquid volume puzzles and electrical circuit puzzles and memorization puzzles and loads more. It is an incredibly satisfying game that I had a great time with. And for $5 you can't go wrong.
