Shantae Half-Genie Hero almost ruined the entire Shantae franchise for me. It was my first Shantae game because I wanted to see what the fuss was about, but I freaking hated it. Sure, the characters look fantastic and the music is great, but I didn't like the level setup or the slow ass transformations, among other things. I always play to about the same point - where a giant sand worm boss is chasing you up a level - sort of like an Ori and the Blind Forest escape section - but in this game it sucks and I quit and delete the game because, unlike Ori, the rest of the game isn't good enough to justify the frustration of that one section. I don't want to talk about Half-Genie Hero anymore, but I'll have lots to say about Shantae and the Seven Sirens a couple days from now!
