I LOVE Senran Kagura. I love almost everything about the franchise (except Reflexions ...). And it makes me sad that Sony has basically shut it down, at least in the form we know and love, because they're embarrassed of having boobie games on their platform now or something. Because of that, we haven't had a new Senran Kagura action game in quite a while until the release of Neptunia x Senran Kagura Ninja Wars.
Unfortunately, Neptunia getting top billing is an indicator that this is primarily a Neptunia game with a handful of Senran Kagura girls thrown in. This is NOT a Senran Kagura game. The combat is simple and boring, there are only ever a handful of enemies onscreen at once, and the fanservice has been toned way, way, way down. I don't hate it, but I definitely don't love it as it isn't what I wanted at all. Watch more below.
