Eric Vs. 365 - Day 253 - Godzilla Unleashed PS2

Godzilla Unleashed on Nintendo Wii is one of my favorite Godzilla games. Godzilla Unleashed on PS2 is easily the worst of the PS2 Pipeworks Trilogy. Guess which one we played today? Sorry, but it was just a lot easier to record the PS2 game for this. Read more and watch gameplay right here.

Godzilla Unleashed on PS2 isn't a bad game by any means. It just doesn't do anything above and beyond what the previous Pipeworks Godzilla games did. It plays the same, and has a huge roster, but looks worse. It's fine if you've never played Destroy All Monsters Melee or Save the Earth, but if you have access to either of those they are a better choice.

Godzilla Unleashed on the Wii, on the other hand, is surprisingly good. It looks much better than the PS2 version and, as amazing as it sounds, the Wiimote+Nunchuk controls are actually awesome. Waving the Wiimote around really does feel like you're punching and kicking and tossing monsters around like Godzilla. The Wii version also has the biggest roster out of all of the Pipeworks games, so it kind of wins by default.

Not much else to say that I haven't already said in my other Godzilla blogs / videos. All hail the King!
